ABOUT ME

Benjy Cohen is a multidisciplinary comedy-maker whose work spans theatre, film, music, magic and live performance. His projects range from original musicals and comedy films to web series and stage performance, often combining humour, music and the slightly absurd.

His current project, The Wise Old Town of Chelm, is an original musical comedy film inspired by Jewish folklore and the traditional tales of Chelm.

Previous work includes Unpresidented, developed in New York and later produced in London; Diggers With Attitude, showcased at Soho Theatre; Liar, his first IMDb screen credit; and Take Two, his first London stage production.

Alongside writing and making original work, Benjy performs as an actor, singer, comedian and magician, and has also worked across visual art and design.
